Joe Biden will have conversations with Vladimir Putin. President of the United States, Joe Biden, will have a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin this Thursday to discuss increasing tensions in the Ukraine. According to recent reports, the U.S. has warned its European allies that Russian troops in Ukraine could be preparing for an upcoming invasion next month, which is why the United States is committed to having conversations with its Russian counterpart – in order to resolve any conflict in a peaceful manner. Russia has expressed its displeasure through NATO`s presence in the Ukraine as military tensions have escalated, however, it showed intentions of wanting to avoid conflicts through negotiations with the United States. Both countries presidents are expected to share their points of view at 3:30 pm Washington time and continue negotiations after the New Year, which would lead them to avoid military conflict. The West is preparing to impose economic sanctions on Russia in case a conflicts arise, but negotiations seek to avoid any increase in geopolitical tensions.
