Former President of the United States, Donald Trump, surrendered himself to authorities in Georgia yesterday. This was due to over a dozen charges against him related to his attempt to modify election results in the state in 2020. However, he was released after posting bail of 200 thousand dollars. Trump referred to the case as a “travesty of justice,” adding that he did nothing wrong. Yesterday’s event marked the fourth occasion this year in which the former president turned himself in to local or federal authorities on criminal charges.
